With extensive, hands-on expertise in graphic design and marketing communications, Mr. Richardson operates at the intersection of creativity and strategy—transforming ideas into compelling visual narratives that capture attention, strengthen brand equity, and elevate audience engagement. He plays a pivotal advisory role in defining the creative direction of the organization, shaping how The African Digest communicates its voice, identity, and influence across diverse markets.

Godlove Ashun

Godlove Ashun serves as the Acting Deputy General Manager of The African Digest, where she plays a central role in overseeing the organization’s internal operations and staff welfare across its editorial, administrative, and international teams. She ensures seamless coordination between departments while fostering a supportive and high-performing work environment.
A graduate of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Ms. Ashun brings extensive experience from her years of service within the media industry, having worked with multiple media organizations prior to joining The African Digest. Her professional background equips her with a strong understanding of newsroom dynamics, media relations, and organizational management.
In addition to her operational leadership role, she serves as Special Advisor to the CEO/Editor-in-Chief, providing strategic support and guidance on key decisions. Known for her calm, empathetic, and people-centered approach, Godlove combines professionalism with a strong sense of care—bringing both structure and a human touch to the day-to-day management of the organization.

He brings extensive experience in sales and market development across multiple sectors, supported by a strong network of strategic and international partnerships. His work has been instrumental in facilitating The African Digest’s expansion into multiple African markets, significantly strengthening the publication’s visibility, accessibility, and continental footprint.
Maxwell is responsible for driving sales strategy, distribution systems, and circulation frameworks within Ghana and across all 54 African countries, ensuring effective market penetration and sustainable growth. In addition, he provides strategic insight into the direction and global perception of The African Digest brand, contributing to its positioning as a credible and influential Pan-African media platform.
With a results-driven and strategic approach, he continues to play a key role in advancing the organization’s commercial success, brand authority, and long-term expansion strategy.

She is responsible for driving the company’s public positioning, managing integrated marketing campaigns, and ensuring a consistent and compelling brand voice across all channels. Her work is central to strengthening audience engagement, expanding market reach, and reinforcing The African Digest’s identity as a credible and influential Pan-African media brand.
In close collaboration with editorial, creative, and digital teams, Athena plays a key role in aligning communication outputs with organizational objectives, ensuring that every message delivered enhances visibility, reputation, and impact. She brings a disciplined, results-oriented approach to communications strategy, with a strong emphasis on brand growth, audience development, and stakeholder engagement.
Sophia Atariba

Sophia Atariba holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana). She has a strong passion for Customer Service Management, Administration, and Organizational Management.
Over the years, she has developed extensive capacity in Corporate Communication, Effective Administrative Coordination, and Client Relations, which have helped her adapt and perform excellently in the corporate space.
She currently serves as the Executive Coordinator (CEO’s Office, Editorials & Communications) at The African Digest (Magazine, News & Media) where she oversees liaison with the CEO’s Office, assists with Team Coordination and Management, as well as operational support for The African Digest Team.
As Executive Coordinator (Editorials), Sophia together with the Editor-in-Chief coordinates, collates and edits editorial content, as well as the coordination of contributing journalists who report for The African Digest across the African continent.
She displays immense experience serving in coordinating roles, which has strengthened her ability to manage tasks efficiently, work under pressure, and maintain professionalism at all times. Sophia’s vision is to become widely recognised for excellence in Leadership, Effective Communications, Customer Service Management, and Executive Management.
Blessing Yayra Adiworkor

Blessing Yayra Adiworkor is an accomplished finance and accounts professional with over a decade of experience in financial management, accounting administration, budgeting, reporting, and organizational financial oversight. She currently serves as the Head of Finance for The African Digest (Magazine, News & Media), where she is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and ensuring sound financial management practices that support the organization’s growth and sustainability.
Prior to joining The African Digest, Blessing built an impressive career as an Accounts Manager within the construction industry, where she successfully managed financial operations for more than ten years. Her extensive experience in the sector has equipped her with strong expertise in financial planning, cost control, cash flow management, procurement oversight, financial reporting, and compliance management.
Beyond the corporate environment, Blessing has demonstrated exceptional commitment to service and leadership through her financial stewardship in various voluntary and church organizations, where she has played critical roles in strengthening financial accountability, transparency, and governance structures.
She also serves as the Head of Finance for a leading non-profit organization dedicated to African Women’s Empowerment and Leadership, supporting initiatives that promote leadership development, economic empowerment, and capacity building for women across the African continent. In this role, she has contributed significantly to financial strategy development, donor fund management, project budgeting, and organizational sustainability.
As she assumes her new position at The African Digest, Blessing brings a wealth of knowledge gained from the corporate, non-profit, faith-based, and development sectors. Her broad experience, attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to excellence position her as a valuable member of the leadership team.
Blessing is passionate about financial accountability, organizational growth, and the effective management of resources to achieve strategic objectives. Her vision for finance leadership is centered on transparency, efficiency, sustainability, and creating strong financial foundations that enable organizations to maximize their impact.
